World Wrestling Entertainment, famously known as WWE, approached Funny Garbage to transform their Live Event Tour site, focusing on the engagement of their enthusiastic fans, while incorporating sophisticated marketing opportunities for their premier sponsors.
Fans can view live events nearest them via a customized Google map integration, purchase tickets, get decked out in WWE gear courtesy of Kmart, view greatest WWE moments and even play games like, “ Photo Hunt.” The cherry on top of the sundae, or should we say the smack down inside the ring, is FG’s integration of Facebook to empower fans to share and attend live events with their friends.
FG created an incentive for fans to repeatedly return to the WWE Live Event website to see content updates of photos, video, and activity or game results, that were directly linked to activities promoted at the local event.
As the WWE announcer would say, “And the championship belt goes to…” Funny Garbage for providing WWE fans with an engaging online one-spot-stop for live event information, while highlighting sponsor event participation.
