Saul of the Molemen was created for the Adult Swim series on Cartoon Network. When Saul’s shipmates are killed aboard their subterranean drilling machine, he is left to fend for himself in a strange and colorful underground world.

Taking a lead from the Sid and Marty Krofft series of children’s Saturday morning programs of the 1970’s, this Funny Garbage co-production makes humorous use of the live action genre. Life size costumes were created for the Molemen, models of ships and the underground landscape were built, and everything was composited in post-production.
